YELLOW STONE NATONAL PARK

Old faithful is located in Wyoming. It is acone shaped geyser and got its name in 1870. Sept. 18 1870 during the washburg langford doane expadition they saw old faithful. Eruptions can shoot 3700 to8400 gl. of water. Shoots up to 185ft. Last up to 45 minutes and erupts every 65 min.45 ft.deep and 265 dagrees of boiling water.Erupts 18-23 times a day.

4 miles beneath yellowstone there's asuper volcano. The volcano is 40mileswide and filled with molten magma which powers the geysers in yellow stone. this volcano could erupt with more than double the amount of force than Mt saint helens. The last eruption took place 650,000 years ago in yellow stone some core samples canstill be foundalong the gulfof Mx. Yellow stone has the modt steam vents,hot springs, and geysers on earth
