World War Times - Heil Hitler In Control

Nazis aren't AfraidYes, some people support Heil and his rules, but why do they? One word: propaganda. They tell the people that the world is against them, that they are weak without Hitler. They showed no other option than Hitler and his harsh rules. You might be asking, why would people believe this? Well, you'd be surprised how convincing (and maybe threatening) the Nazis were.

Seven Types of Propaganda:1. The Government2. The Religion 3. The Culture 4. The Work5. The Education6. The Terror7. The Propaganda

The way Hitler gained control in 1933-1934 meant that the Nazis had complete power of national/ local government.

The Government

The Religion

Hitler believed that religion would threaten the Nazis' control over people, so he tried many different ways to reduce the power of the church over people.

The Education

Young people’s lives were controlled both in and out of school to turn them into fanatical Nazis.

Dr. Robert Ley, head of the German Labour Front, claimed he controlled workers' lives from the 'cradle to the grave'.

The Work

Germany became a country where it was unsafe to do/say anything bad or negative of the government.

The Terrror

The Propaganda

Josef Goebbels was in charge the Propaganda Ministry, which was aimed to brainwash people into obeying the Nazis and basically worshiping Hitler.

Although World War ll was horrible, filled with pain, death and sadness, we can learn from Hitler and the entire experience. How can we learn from something as serious as a war? We can learn so many things. Our army could improve strategies and defenses, our children could be educated from our history, but most importantly how to prevent another catestrophic war such as this.

Hitler ordered “Nazification,” the demand of Nazi values, on all of German life.

The Culture

"The only thing we have to fear is fear itself."-Franklin D. Roosevelt

"Demoralize the enemy from within by surprise, terror, sabotage, assassination. This is the war of the future."-Adolf Hitler
