Consequences/OutcomesThe treaty of Versailles was the final peace settlement of World War I. The treaty required Germany to greatly reduce its military forces. The treaty also stated that the Germans were to take full responsibility of the war, paying for any damages. Eastern Europe was greatly changed as a result of the war and the peace treaties. Countries such as Germany and Russia expearianced great economic downfall. As a result, this led to many revolutions inside the countries and further instability.
