USA is one of many resucers in the holocaust. With them not knowning that this was happening over there, they still tried their best to help and save lifes towards the end of the war..

Individual people people tried to help the people in the holocaust. Such as oscar shindler. He had many of them saved by buying them from SS officers. he saved over 1200 jewish people.

As Allied troops made progress across Nazi-occupied Europe, they began to uncover concentration camps.The camp of Majdanek in Poland was the first to be liberated.
