-Germany loses World War I. -They were in debt to Brtiain and France for the aid in the war.
-Hitler tried to overthrow local authorities in Munich but did not succeed. -Hitler and many of his other followers were jailed on charges of high treason.
In 1929, the Great Depression began. The Great Depression affected all things economic and social. Lots of people lost their jobs and were going broke, tired, and hungry. The Great Depression had a big effect, especially on Germany. During the Great Depression, Adolf Hitler took deep advantage.
-Hitler wrote a book while in prison,called My Struggle, which was published that same year.
From 1925 to 1929, the Nazi Party grew massively in numbers. The Party went from 27,000 people to 108,000 in just four years.
-World War I ends. -All together, the deaths in the war equal up to 37 million.
