World War I.
France
Germany had recently formed young nations. Since Germany was a world power they were jealous of Britain and France. The country was involved in the Dual Alliance, Triple Alliance, and Reinsurance Treaty. Germany got into the war because it was supporting Austria against Russia; so they become involved and declared war onn Russia.

Britain was consdiered a world power. After declaring war on Germany and Austria, it became an allied power. There ship, the Lusitania, was sunk by the Germans. Since the Paris Peace Conference Britain considered themselves to be relaists.
France was considered a world power and controlled over much of land. France had allied power. Although during the war France became weak and smaller because Belgium was invaded. France was able to stop Germany and was apart of the Paris Peace Conference. There they decided to forgive Germany.

United States
Russia was involved in the Reinsurance Treaty and Triple Entente. The country was involved in the war because of Germany and they wanted to support Serbia. They became an allied power and attacked Germany on August 1914. Russia became chaotic with revolutions, assasinations, and czar forced to abdicate.
Austria had many minorities, most of which don not like the government. The country was part of the Dual Alliance and Triple Alliance. They declared war on Serbia and was supported by Germany. They obtained central power.
U.S declared war on Germany on April 6, 1917; they had the ability to produce a lot of everything. U.S. and other allies pushed people away from the Western front. They entered the war because of the Zimmermann Telegram. They were a part of the Paris Peace Conference; rejected that idea.
Italy had been recently formed, it was a young nation. Italy was an allied power and decided to switch sides on Germany to fight against them. The country was involved in the Paris Peace Conference.
