Germany became weak and was falling apart after World War 1. Since the economy becamce bankrupt everything shut down. Anti-semitism began which was prejudice towards Jews. Kristallnacht was the night that Jewwish stores, temples, & homess were destroyed. This led to Hitler's uprising and rule He became head of the Nazi party and began to kill thousands of Jews.

Benito Mussolini was considered the father of facism, at the time. Groups of fascist wanted to protect the government in Rome from upcoming communists. This led to Mussolini destroying democracy. II Duce became leader of the government; he outlawed all other political parties in the nation.

Russia´s totalitarian government affected the people lived because of how they did not have privacy. There were 5 revolutions throughout the time, February Revolution, October Revolution, Russian Civil War, & etc. Russia was considered a weak country because other countries were able to invade it easily. In addition, their improvement didn't help because they were held back on technology and improvement.

Communism: society where every property is owned and people are paid according to their abilities-Communism spreads to poor nations all over the world War Communism: all businesses, factories, banks, & farms were nationalized

Fascism: a political idea that says individuals should have loyalty to the state while obeying the leader Beliefs: 1. anti-democratic 2. one strong leader rulers by decree 3. anti-communist 4.militaristic- glorify war 5. racist
