The Great War later known as World War 1 was the war that shook nations, bringing to countries to choose a side, The Allies, The Central power or neutrality.

The ship Lusitania ha got sunk sparked anger towards the Germans. The ship held alot of amunition that was going to Great Britain

A new way of warfare hat started in 1914 but became large in 1916. Involves digging trenches that were used as cover and a place where soldiers lived

The Treaty of Versailles endedthe war and made Germany pay reperation,which was 31.4 billion dollars. Under the treaty Germany had to give back many square miles of land.

The United Staes enters World War 1 after the british interceps a telegram meant from Germany to Mexico.They made a big impact on the war.

The Zimmermann note said that Mexico should team up with German and wage war on the U.S and they would get some states as a reward.
