Ways to help world vision

You can help world vision by donating to them or by sponsoring a child. When you sponsor a child you send them $39 a month you can mail. You could even volunteer and join world vision and go to other countries and help support people around the world. World vision has lots of ways to get involved.

OUR HISTory

In early 1950s Bob pierce traveled the U.S serching and makingmovies to raise awareness in Asia.In early 1960s Korean Orphan choir world tour raised awareness and sponsorships. Later that 1960s nearly 27,000 children are sponsored due to the awareness.In 1970s the sponsorship has grew over the years it expanded to 54,000 children to 193,000.In 1980s more children have been sponsored. Later in 1980 the foundation was lucky enough to have clean water as an extra pointto the community.In 1990s more children are sponsored more and more.In 2000s the asian tsunami and hurricane katrina, being the record devastation, response, donations , and support.

WHO WE ARE

World vision is a christian organization that works with families, children and communities throughout the world to tackle poverty. World vision also encourages people around the world to sponsor a child . Sponsoring a child is a good way to give people in need. People around the world have even committed to use their time and talent to help poor children reach their full potential.

WHERE WE WORK

World vision works in neary 100 countrieswith 46,000 staff in countries like Ethiopia,India, Russia and Canada.Their headquarters is found in Monrovia,CA United States of America.World vision also has 24 board members helping them help other countries.

WHAT WE DO

Our work began in 1950 our approach was basic. We provide food shelter for children in orphanages through child sponsorships. But we have learned a lot in 64 year. We help really poor countries. We also help the unprivileged kids. We give the kids freedom to live and not do labor.
