The Bezos Family Foundation is supporting this challenge. They have made an arrangement stating that for every bookmark there is made; they will donate $1 for every bookmark up to $300,00.

There is up to 80% of attendence for children in school in Peru, but the children drop out due to povery which makes them lose their ability to read and or write.

Only 34% of people can read and write in Mali. They are mostly adults. The childrens rate is extremely low due to the lack of literacy from their parents and peers.

Nepal has a very low literacy status with only 40% of people being literate, 60% of the children in Nepal are unable to go to school.
