The women staying in a separate room to men.

Their Role:They taught and learnt how to look after their children, how to run a home and Cooking and weaving.

Women were not free citizens.Women became slaves if they couldn't find a suitable family whilst they were 7-18 years old.Women couldn't leave the house without permission.

The Women could not leave the house without the Husband's permission, as they were considered their Husband's or Fathers property. Once sold to a suitable family at the age of 7-18 they were their husbands property. If she doesnt find a suitable family she would become a slave. They were expected to have 4-6 childern.
