Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart

Wolfgang AMadeus MozartOn January 27, 1756, a very important composer was born in Salzburg, Austria known by the name of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.

Young Mozart was a muscian from when we was born. He knew how to play multiple instruments such as the organ, violin, trumpet, and many other ones by time he was 6 years old. As he grew over the years, the young Mozart traveled the country with his father, Leopold Mozart, showing off his talent. When they returned from their last journey from Italy, Mozart found himself wanting to leave his hometown because he felt he could do much more somewhere else.

This is Constance, the girl Mozart fell in love with when he moved to Vienna. They were married on August 4, 1782 and had six children, but only two survived infancy.


Mozart left his hometown and set of to the town of Vienna where started composing many of his own pieces. He created many church pieces, including the Coronation Mass. He wrote multpiple pieces for opera and played in several concerts. His work was styled in the Barouqe form and it influenced his later works down the road. Through all the fame of Mozart had gained from being a pianist and composer, his family still ran into financial problems. Things changed though during December 1787, Emperor Joseph the II had gave Mozart the position as his "chamber composer." This was a womderful gift for Mozart, who was struggling financially and it also gave him the freedom to explore his personal music ambitions. This upward motion in Mozart's life didn't last long. He still was in crazy debt and had to move his family somewhere where it wasn't as costly a few years later. His life spiked oncemore during the years of 1790 and 1791 and he was able to pay of most his depts. Even though he finally maintained a steady income and was pretty much out of dept, the hard years took its toll on him and he fell very ill. Mozart past away on Deccember 5, 1791 at the age of 35. At the time of his death, Mozart was considered one of the greatest composers of all time and the expression his music made inspired millions. His legacy still inspires today.

Mozart wrote over a 1000 compostions, but only 626 were documented. Some of his most knwon compositions were Eine Kleine Nachtmusik and the "Magical Flute."
