Special thanks to Mr. Underwood!
Our seventh graders volunteered their time to help maintain the prairie remnant along the Wiouwash Trail on a beautiful October day. The goal was to remove "woody" plants so that native prairie grasses and flowers can reestablish themselves. Our task was simple: cut low, work in sections, stop when you get to a fence, and drop the cuttings where they came from. Thanks to all for your spectacular effort! We cut over 10. 000 square feet of brush from the prairie!
