William Randolph Hearst

William Randolph Hearst profoundly influenced the American journalism with his largest newspaper chain. His yellow journalism sensationalized stories of dubious veracity. After acquiring more newspapers, he created a chain of 30 newspapers in major american cities. With his expansion into magazines, he created the largest magazine and newspaper business in the world.

Born in San Francisco, William Randolph Hearst received the best education from his multimillionaire father and later took over his printing business. Being an American publisher, editor and proprietor, he assembled the most extexsive journalistic empire to be assembled by man.
