Anne Frank Test: This test has two parts. DIRECTIONS: From each of the following 1) true/false questions, select the best answer then 2) write a two paragraph essay about how you might begin to "change the world" to make it a better place for Jews. There are no right or wrong answers for part 2 of the exam. It is your personal belief. However, I do ask that your writing be legible and that you use proper grammar and the correct parts of speech like the ones we learned in our last lesson (nouns, pronouns, adjectives, verbs, direct objects, prepositions, capitalization, punctuation, etc.). Students will be graded on part 2 according to a) grammar, b) legibility (I will take off a few points if I can't read it), c) whether or not you understood the required reading (ex. Anne Frank: The Diary of A Young Girl), and d) whether or not you followed directions (ex. listening skills-1) Did the essay contain two full paragraphs? A paragraph contains 4-6 well written sentences. 2) Did the student do the required reading (ex. Anne Frank: The Diary of A Young Girl)? 3) Did the student comprehend the material?
