Where The Wild Things Are

Clorox disinfectant wipes are used by millions across the nation. In a rather different editorial, it states that disinfectant wipes might not even kill bacteria but transfer it to another area.

Hypothesis

Research

Where The Wild Things AreLink to Full Lab Report

My hypothesis was not supported by my experimental data. My data showed the bacteria on the telephone presented with 50%, hand soap nozzle was 75%, and the door knob with 85%.I think my experiment was valid because i controlled all the variables that came to mind.

1rst ,Mix 10 grams of agar ' hot water. 2nd, pour half of the solution in 12 petri dishes. 3rd, wait 1 hour for it to harden. 4rth take swab of infected surface then 3 swabs of diinfected. Do this for the next three surfaces. 5th wait a week and record results.

Procedure

If its possible that Clorox wipes do not kill bacteria but only transport them to another area then i hypothosize that Clorox disinfectant wipes do not kill 99.9% of bacteria.

Conclusion

Do Clorox Wipes Really Work to Kill 99.9% of Bacteria?
