Where the Red Fern GrowsBy: Wilson Rawls

This story is about a boy named Billy and his two dogs as they go hunting in the dark hills of the Ozarks. Billy is a person who never gives up. His dogs are so loyal to him and try their best to accomplish what he tells them to do. If you have red and enjoyed Island of the Blue Dolphin then you would enjoy this book. When I red this book I couldn' t put it down untill I was done with it. The end of this book is very sad that I broke out in tears. My favorite part of the book is when Billy finally gets his two redbone coonhounds, a long awaited dream of him. I have to say that the author of this book, Wilson Rawls, is very talented.
