What is an UN-Healthy Lifestyle?

A lifestyle where a person engages in activities that are known to be detrimental to one's health. This can include, neglecting to feed yourself adequite nutrition, neglecting to sleep adequite hours, remaining sedementery or over-exerting ones self, or engaging in harmful activities like smoking, or binge drinking.

Along with under or over eating, an unhealthy diet usually entails a high consumption of processed foods and fats, and/or an insufficient consumption of natural foods, such as fruits and vegetables, in order to maintain energy levels throughout the day and perform basic bodily functions. A poor diet can lead to many health complications including obesity, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, heart disease, stroke, type-2 diabetes, eating disorders, as well as been linked to depression.

Sitting for more than 3 hours a day can cut 2 years off a person's life expectancy, regardless of that person's exercise habits, and yet the average American sits more than 7 hours a day. Making an effort to stand more, opting for more active forms of transportation, and partaking in more active leisure can decrease health risks such as obesity, heart disease, cancer.

Neglecting Mental Health

Neglecting to build healthy, supportive relationships and isolating oneself does not support a healthy lifestyle, as human beings are community oriented by nature. Being overly strict and neglecting to care for yourself, can lead to disorders such as depression, obsessive compulsive disorder, and eating disorders. Encouraging and indulging negative thoughts can also leave you unhappy and susceptible to obstructive behavior. Poor mental health can leave you unable to perform basic functions up to par.

Addiction

Includes the dependence on anything in excess, usually to produce joy, provide release, or fill some kind of void. To achieve a healthy lifestyle, one must maintain balance, so addiction is present in unhealthy lifestyles.

Is a Healthy Lifestyle Reasonably Attainable?

It is unlikely that anyone can maintain a perfectly healthy lifestyle without sacrificing one or more components to do so. That is why balance is essential, and while doing things to maintain your health, be sure not to compromise happiness, or obsess.
