Timeline- 1916 - Crick is born - 1928 - Watson is born - 1951 - They meet - 1953 -Publish their paper on DNA structure - 1962 -Awarded the Nobel Prize - 1968 -Watson publishes book "The Double Helix"

Rosalind Franklin worked at King’s College, London in the 1950’s; there she made X-ray images of DNA. These images of DNA were used by Crick and Watson to aid in their discovery of the structure of DNA. Rosalind Franklin died of cancer before the importance of her work had been acknowledged.
