WATER

The worst marine pollution was between 1953-1967 when a plastics factory in Japan. 20 000 people were affected and 800 people died!

Precipitation is when so much water has condensed that the air cannot hold it The clouds get heavy and water falls back to the earth in the form of rain, hail, sleet or snow.

The 'Old Faithful' geyser in Yellowstone National Park, USA, can spout water 52 metres into the air. The longest rivers in Nile and the Amazon which are apporximately 6500km long

The Sun evaporates a trillon (1000 000 000 000) tonnes a day

The Water Cycle has four stages: Evaporation, Condensation, Precipitation, Collection.

Evaporation is when the sun heats up rivers, lakes, oceans and turns them into heat. The steam leaves the lakes, rivers and oceans and goes into the air.

How do you recycle Water? It's easy just follow these steps. 1. Recycle water from your Shower, put a bucket at the bottom of the shower and use the water that is saves for cooking.2.Collect rainwater in a rainwater tank or collect it in your drains in a bucket.

Condensation (Water Vapor) is when the air gets cold and turns back into liquid forming clouds.

When water falls back to Earth , it may fall back in oceans, lakes or rivers or may sink in to the earth and become ground water. The cycle will start again and again and again.

Water is the most important thing on Earth. We can only survive a few days without it!

Fish breathe water like we breathe Air! An Elephant can smell Water from 5 kilometres away! An iguana can stay underwater for 28 minutes. A rat is the animal that can last the longest without water. A seagull can drink seawater as it has special glands to flitter the salt.

3. If you have a little bit of water left in your glass, don't throw it down the drain, water your plants with it.4. If you water your grass every two days then save water and do it every 4 days or something that saves water
