Abiotic Factors, in general, are the nonliving things that make up an ecosystem.
When we went to the stream the first day, the water had a pH of 6.5, and it was 15.4°C. The average turbidity was 2.6NTU, there were 5ppm of nitrates, 0.10 ppm of nitrites, 15ppm of phosphates, and the average dissolved oxygen level was 20.
Upon our second visit to the stream, many things had changed, although one thing remained the same. The pH was still 6.5 and did not change. However, the temperature was 18.4°C. The average turbidity became 8.9NTU, there were 3ppm of nitrates, 0.5 ppm of nitrites, 20ppm of phosphates, and the average dissolved oxygen level was 6.5.
