[2015] John Powley: Walt Disney Elliot

This book is about Walt Disney's life and how he created Disney Land and Mickey Mouse. First he moves from Chicago to Marceline when he was 4 years old. He then grows up on a farm and gets his first drawing tablet and names a pig Porky and paints him with tar on his house.

Accomplishments

1. Walt was only 11 years old when he sold his first comic.2. Walt creates Mickey Mouse (When he chose a mouse, its name wasn't Mickey at first, it was Mortimer!).3. Walt creates Disney Land and tells his ideas to his older brother, Roy.

Lasting Impact

Mickey was 4 years old to recieve an Oscar. He was the youngest star for that!
