Walter Elias Disney was an animator, cartoonist, producer, directer, screen writer, enterpreneur, voice actor, a philanthropist. He is most famous for his character, Mickey Mouse, who he voiced himself. In highschool, he was a cartoonist for his school's newspaper, focusing on topics about WWI. He dropped out of highschool to join the army, but was rejected because he was underage. Later, Walt Disney moved to Kansas and opened his own animation business. His cartoons, which he called Laugh-o-grams, were played at a popular theater. This was the start of his animation career.

Walt Disney has made several accomplishments throughout his life. He was the entrepreneur of an internationally famous and very succesful company, Walt Disney Studios. He's made several characters such as Oswald the Lucky Rabbit, Mickey Mousem and Steamboat Willie.

Today, the Disney company has several famous animated and unanimated movies, and TV shows, as well as several very successul theme parks throughout the world
