Voltaire

During the Rennisance Voltaire played the role of a poet, a writer for plays and a strong willed person. Voltaire was very brave, he enraged the Government and went against the church.

*Voltaire was arrested and exiled to Bastille for a year (1726-1727)*Voltaire was imprisoned for following insult exchange (1725)*Voltaire rejected the ideas of the Roman Catholic church (1734)

Voltaire was oddly in love with his niece so he decided to move back to Paris. King Fredrick the Great admired Voltaires worked and offered Voltaire to work for him. Of course Voltaire excepted he job and he made 20,000 francs a year.

Accomplishments

Voltaire was a poet and he wrote plays. He was arressted because his plays and writings enraged the government because the government felt like they were being "attacked." In 1726 he was forced to flee England, and he came back several hers later just to be sent away from England again.
