Volcano

A volcano is an opening in the earth's crust when molten material is propelled upward through the surface. The magma chamber collects magma that is expelled to the surface in an eruption. Volcanoes usually occur close to the tectonic plate. Many are near Earth's plate boundaries. Volcanoes affect the ecosystem in many ways. During an eruption, the weather and climate change. There is a lot of rain, lightning, and thunder. Plants are destroyed over a wide area during an eruption. Although, volcano soils can be very rich so once everything is cool, the plants will grow back. Eruptions of volcanoes also affect animals. It affects bird migration, insects, and many other animals die because of it. Volcanoes are formed when the rock from the mantle melts, moves to the surface of the crust. And releases gasses and the volcano erupts.
