Vitamin C is found in many citrus fruits like lemons, limes, and oranges.

Scurvy is a Vitamin C deficiency that causes rotten teeth.

Vitamin C is necessary for the growth, development, and repair of all body tissues. It also repair bones and helps heal wounds.


Too much Vitamin C is rare, but if too much is consumed it will cause diarrhea and vomiting.

Even though Vitamin C is found more in fruits, it can also be found in vegetables.

Vitamin C is very good for your immune system which helps fight back germs and protects you from infections.

The recommended daily allowance for vitamin C is 65 to 90 milligrams a day and the upper limit is 2,000 milligrams a day.
