What is visible light?Visible light is electromagnetic radiation that humans can detect because of cone shaped receivers in our eyes that are tuned in to the certain wavelengths visible light has.(The retina contains the light sensing rods and cones.)
White light is made up of many different colors.
Each color of visible light has a different wavelength.
Each color of light travels at the same speed through a vacuum; 3.00x10^8 m/sec.
Different colors of light also have different amounts of energy and different frequencies.
The wave model is used much more than the particle model.
