Viktor Frankl's life serves as a reminder to all, no matter how difficult the path may be, choosing to give up, before it has had the chance to fly, only holds the human spirit back.
"Life does not owe you happiness, it offers you meaning."
Viktor Frankl
LOGOTHERAPYFrankl developed a form of psychotherapy known as Logotherapy. The meaning of Logotherapy is "healing through reason". Frankl's theory is used in finding the meaning of life. His book "Man's Search For Meaning" spoke a lot about his existential views and explained his theory of Logotherapy. He explains that the meaning of life can be discovered in three ways:1. Creating a work or doing a deed 2. Experiencing something or encountering someone3. The attitude we take toward unavoidable sufferingThe American Medical Society, the American Pscyhiatric Association, and the American Pscyhological Association officially recognized Logotherapy as a scientifially based school of psychology.
