Venus

Venus, the second planet from the sun, is the brightest planet. It is also the hottest planet in the solar system at 465c. Venus was named after a femle godess. picture below

Venus is 96.5% carbon dioxide. A machine can only stay on Venus for 2 hours until it's destroyed from heat. Just imagine a human on venus, in a snap of a finger you'd be dead. Venus' surface is dry and full of molten lava rocks and volcanoes.On Venus there is only traces of water.

Venus was discovered in 1581 B.C. It is impossible to find out who actually found Venus. Venus has no moons and is 108,200,000km away from the Sun. One sunrise to the next is 117 Earth days. It's orbital period is 225 earth days long.

Fun Fact: Venus and Earth used to be called twins. They both had a mass of 4.867E24kg or 0.815kg. The only differnce between the 2 was that Venus spun backwards.
