There is 7 differnt tribes of Ute Indians.
The tribe is still living today in the Rocky Mountains area. Some Ute reservations have tradition dances in honor over their ancestors.
Utes hunt deer, elk, and antelope. They also did agriculture and gathered many fruits for the cold winter.
Babies were put on wood boards and would be cared for women even girls from ages nine and up.

Utes would trade horses with the Spainish in the early to mid 1600's.
The state of Utah was named after the Ute Indians!
