Technology helps take the classroom to new and improved learning environment. Using text, graphics, videos, images and animations can help catch the students’s attention at another level. Text, images, graphics, sound and video can capture a student’s attention and assist the students in engaging further into the lesson or assessment. "The development of multimedia technologies for learning offers new ways in which learning can take place in schools and the home” (Asthana, 2009). Using Power Point presentations, YouTube videos, self-made videos (like my amazing one on this Glog) and even an interactive class website are all ways to take learning above and beyond for the students and have give a stronger impact of learning in the classroom. "Learning should be the impetus that drives the use of technology in the school. Its use can allow teachers and students to become partners in the learning process” (Bitner & Bitner, 2002, p. 97).
