MTSS is a "vehicle" for UDL--it is a way to bring UDL into the classroom!

PBIS--Positive Behavior Intervention ' SupportsFocus:Working with students to reinforce and support positive, appropriate behavior instead of punishing a student for negative, inappropriate behavior.

RtI--Response to InterventionFocus:Helping students grow acadmically by providing high quality instruction (EBP's) and monitoring progress in order to meet a student's needs. Information that is gathered from monitoring progress is used to make educational decisions that are in the best interest of the student.

UDL makes the curriculum available to all students...the first time!

RtI ' PBIS are types of MTSS used in schools today!
