Tundra is located at the top of the world, located near the North Pole. It is unusually cold, dry and windy!

The term tundra comes from the Kildin Sami word tūndâr meaning treeless land!
Tundra Plants
Plants that grow in the Tundra Biome,are generally turned towards the sun. They also grow in clumps to protect each other from the cold and the wind.
Animals:Producers:Grasses, mosses, lichens and dwarf shrubs Consumers:Marmots, mountain goats, sheep and birds.
Did you know the temperature range in Tundra Biomes are only - 6 to 12 degrees Celsius!
