What role did they play in WW2?Truman- Harry S. Truman became president when FDR died. He was the main cause of the victory of WW2. He was part of the Democratic Party and was 33rd president.Churchill- Winston Churchill was Britain's Prime Minister. He was the first lord of admirality.

What was their contribution to WW2?Truman- Truman demanded the dropping of the atomic bomb, in turn ending the war.Churchill- Churchill planned the attack on all war fronts to invade Italy and send forces to help the Soviets.

In what ways did these world leaders cooperate with eachother?Both Truman and Churchill were at the Potsdam Conference in 1945. They also negotiated terms for the end of WW2.

How did each of these leaders unify their counrty?Truman- Truman's party was divided between Progressives and Southern Conservatives. He provided a strong opposistion.Churchill- To people in Britain, Churchill's stand against Nazism summarized the war.

Were these leaders percieved as popular?Truman- Harry Truman was not popular with people. He wasn't very popular because he was originally vice president but FDR passed away and Truman took his place.Churchill- Churchill was only popular with people that supported his decisions.
