Tropical Rainforests

Rainforests are also essential to humankind as they yield many important materials such as rubber, which originated from rainforest plants.

Deforestation is when large amounts of trees are cut down. It increases the amount and velocity of runoff as a result of less infiltration and interception.

~Tropical rainforests are home to more that two-thirds the worlds flora and fauna species.
