Woolley Adelgid Bug is killing Hemlock trees in the Mountains region. It sucks the sap out of trees. The Woolley Adelgid Bug came from Asia.
Overdevelopment shrinks habitats in the Piedmont. Also displaces the animals in the Piedmont region.
Pollution comes from cars, heavy machinery and people products. Pollution can be seen in the Mountain and Piedmont regions.
Deforestation is in the Mountain and Piedmont region. It is when people cut down all of the trees and plant life in an area. Animals have to find new homes or die.
Chestnut Blight is causing chestnut trees to stop growing or produce chestnuts. Chestnut Blight is in the Mountain region.
