What is a toque

A toque is part of the traditional chefs uniform that is worn on top of the chefs head.

Traditional versions of the chef hat always included 100 pleats. Meaning the chef should know 100 different ways to prepare an egg.

Mix eggs in a bowl. 1 tbsp of liquid, such as milk, per egg. Fold in pan untill cooked.

Crack a egg in a pan on medium, let simmer untill bottom cooked. Then flip and count to 10.

Mix eggs in a bowl. Add 1 tbsp of liquid per egg. pour in pan on low heat. Fold eggs untill cooked. add cheese if desired.

Pop out (remove) the egg yolks to a small bowl and mash with a fork. Add mayonnaise, mustard powder, vinegar, salt and pepper and mix thoroughly. Fill the empty egg white shells with the mixture and sprinkle lightly with paprika. Cover lightly with plastic wrap and refrigerate for up to one day before serving.

Cut a medium sized square out of a piece of bread and place in a pan on medium heat. Drop an egg into the hole and cook untill bottom is done and then flip it.

Add the salt and sugar to the broth. In a separate bowl, beat the egg until frothy. In a small cup, mix the cornstarch and water. Bring the broth to a boil over medium heat in a soup pot. Add the cornstarch mixture, and stir until slightly thickened. Remove from stove. add egg very, very slowly, frop by drop, stirring constantly.

Place eggs in a pot of water, enough to cover above the eggs one inch. Bring to a rapid boil and cook for 17 to 19 minutes.

Fry an egg in a pan until done. Place egg between two pieces of bread and add your toppings such as cheese.
