1. Recycling anything that is recycable such as waterbottles or papers.

4. Dishwashers use a huge amount of water and energy, therefore washing dishes by hand will help reduce your ecological footprint.

2. Drive less. Walk, bike, skate or take public transit. This will help decrease the carbon dioxide in our atmosphere.

5. Save water. Turn off the tap, take short showers instead of baths and make sure to fix any dripping taps. As well as using less hot water will save energy used to heat water.

3. Unplug any electronics when not in use and turn off the lights when leaving a room. Save money and energy!

6. Buy organic foods. Because organic products are treated without pesticide, they are better for both humans and the enviornment .

7. Dry your clothes outside whenever possible. This will reduce the amount of times you use the washing machine which will save a huge amount of energy.

8. Grow a garden! Plants consume carbon dioxide inorder to produce oxygen. This is very beneficial for both us humans and the enviornment.

9. Install fluorescent light bulbs in your home. Fluorescent light bulbs use a lot less energy than incandescent and they both produce the same amount of brightness.

10. Tell your friends about these very simple ways of reducing your ecological footprint. This can get more people to reduce their ecological footprint and save our Earth.
