Scout Finch- Scout is the main character in the book. She is a tomboy and always tags along with her brother.

Boo Radley- Boo is the Finch's neighbor. Rumors have been spread about him and he doesn't leave the house.

Nathan Radley- Nathan is the Finch's neighbor and Boo's brother. He leaves the house but is not often nice.

Atticus Finch- Atticus is the father of Scout and Jem. He is a lawyer and a very good person, but he does have to be strict sometimes.

Jem Finch- Jem is Scout's older brother. He likes to try and see Boo Radley and he likes to play pretend.

Calpurnia- Calpurnia is the housemaid of the Finchs. She is outspoken and is a parental figure to Scout and Jem.

Dill- Dill is the friend of Jem and Scout. He is only around in the summer but he helps them try to see Boo Radley.

Miss Maudie- Miss Maudie is a neighbor of the Finch's. She is one of the only people who doesn't speak against Boo Radley. She gives Scout advice when Jem and Dill exclude her.

Miss Caroline- Miss Caroline was Scout's first grade teacher. She isn't from Maycomb and she is trying to install a new teaching technique into the school. She doesn't like Scout because she can read and write.

Walter Cunningham- Wlater Cunningham is a kid that goes to school with Scout. The Cunninghams are really poor and they don't like to take anything that they couldn't pay back.

The Ewells- The Ewells are a family at Scout's school. They only go to the first day of school so they aren't caught by the police for not going to school. The are often mean to the other children.

    I liked this book. I especially liked the To Kill a Mockingbird character and how they were played in the film. Each has a role to play and does everything as cool as possible to convey the meaning of this book. It is also better to read about it all in the article You need to learn more about everything there is, including the main theme of this book.
