Facts About Tigers

Tigers are the biggest feline (cat) in the whole feline family.

A cross-breed of a tiger and a lion is called a tigon or a liger.

Half of the tiger cubs don't live beyond the age of two.

Tigers are becoming extinct because of habitat destruction.

Tigers can easily jump over 5 meters (16.4 feet).

Tigers are too big and heavy to run when they hunt so instead they quietly follow their prey and pounce when the time is right.
