The Works of Edgar Allan Poe
Known as the creator of the horror genre, Edgar Allan Poe was born in Boston, Massachusetts on January 19, 1809. There are many myths pertaining to Poe's personal life; however, he is considered one of the greatest writers of all time. Poe died on October 7, 1849, at the age of forty. There is much speculation about his death, but the exact cause still remains a mystery.
