Following a crash killing both his parents, a young boy goes to live with his grandmother. She begins telling him about witches and, with an unfortunate turn of luck, the pair end up at a witch convention. They learn of the witches' evil plan to kill all children and work together to foil it.
The Witches
In my opinion, this book serves as an excellent introduction to the many worlds literature can take a reader. This book opened my eyes and caused me to fall in love with Dahl's stories.
