1.Evaporation: Heat from the sun causes water on Earth (in oceans, lakes etc.) to evaporate (turn from liquid into gas) and raise into the sky. This water vapor collects in the sky in the form of clouds.
2.Condensation: As the water vapor in the clouds cools down it becomes water again, this process is called condensation.
3.Precipitation: Water falls from the sky in the form of rain, snow, hail, or sleet, this process is called precipitation.

4. Run Off: includes the variety of ways by which water moves across the land. This includes both surface runoff and channel runoff. As it flows, the water may infiltrate into the ground, evaporate into the air, become stored in lakes or reservoirs, or be extracted for agricultural or other human uses.
2.Condensation: As the water vapor in the clouds cools down it becomes water again, this process is called condensation.
5.The process starts all over again!
