The Water Cycle

The cycle is called ''The Water Cycle''

Rain is important! It is part of a cycle that never ends!

Plants need water in order to survive. They get much of this water from the rain.

Rain falls from clouds in the sky in the form of water droplets. This is called precipitation.

Rain falls on plants, into rivers and lakes, and seeps into the ground. We collect water and store it for use as drinking water, bath water, and lots of other things.

Water droplets group together in the sky and form clouds. This is called condensation.

Water heats up and evaporates. It rises into the sky as a gas called water vapor. This is called evaporation.
