The Tragedy of human

1. Martin Luther King Jr., a famous motivational speaker in the Civil Rights movement, said," History will have to record that the greatest tragedy of this period of social transition was not the strident clamor of the bad people, but the appalling silence of the good people"(98).2. Martin Luther King Jr., an African American born in Atlanta, Georgia who was a minister and activist, said," If you can't fly, then run. If you can't run, then walk, if you can't walk, then crawl, but whatever you do, you have to keep moving forward"(121).

Martin was trying to preach about love and rosperity so that one day, all people can be equal and have the same rights. He knew everyone's life undergoes difficult times tht must be dealt with in order to succeed, and that is what he was trying to preach from these two quotes. By saying that African Americans had the tragedy of having unequal rights, but by having the hope and courage to love and not hate, made him successful and African Americans equal. Life has tradegies that must be dealt with to move closer to success. They are not always going to be easy, but people have to me forward because tradegies canoot hold people back from having the hope to be successful.

1. Plato, a classical Greek philospher and mathematician, said,"We can easily forgive a child who is afraid of the dark; the real tradegy of life is when men are afraid of light"(213).2. Plato, considered the essential figure in the development of philosphy also said," Courage is knowing what not to fear"(177).

Hope is a feeling of expectation and desire for a certain thing to happen. Tragedy is an event causing great suffering, destruction, or distress. Success is the accomplishment of an aim or purpose. Seems like these words have nothing in common, but they ar a cycle. Tradegies will happen, hope will be gained, and success will occur. This should be the cycle of everyone' slife. People who are important, famous, and astonishing all went through this life cycle. If everyone can build from a tragedy in their life then the world would be more successful. So when you are down, tired, or miserable, remember to have hope that nothing is impossible because tragedies will happen, but you hae to take them on with one step at a time!

Theme-The tradegy of human life is not that life ends so soon, but that people wait so long to overcome the tradegies in their life, and the only way they can overcome these tradegies is by having hope.

1. Johnny, a 16 year-old greaser with a serious back injury due to saving children from a fire, said,"You still have a lot of time to make yourself be what you want. There's still lots of good in the world"(179).2. Ponyboy, a 14 year-old greaser with two older brothers and no parents states," There should be some help, someone should tell them before it is too late"(179).

This shows how one person can affect the world by when Johnny had the hope to say there is still lts of good in the world. Affecting Ponyboy to believe that there should be someone to help and have hope to overcome tradegies. Johnny may of had the tradegy of being a greaser and living on his own, but since he had hope in the world, his tradegy of having a short life, turned out to be miracle that will never be passed just by believing in his heart.

Anne Frank!. On page 772 Anne says," In spite of everything, I still believe that people ar ereally good at heart."2. Anne a young Jewish teen stuck in the annex of a building due to the fact that Jewish people are being punished, says,"I think the world may be going through a phas, the way I was with Mother. It'll pass, maybe not for hundreds of years, but someday"(769).These two pieces of evidence show how Anne went through the tradegy of having to be removed from her home, shoved into a hidden attic, and barely having the abilty to communicate wither her family. But inspite of all this, Anne still believed in hope and people can always be good in their heart. No matter the tradegy or how young Anne might die, her life was still a great, memorable one because she overcame her tradegies by having the hope that will never die.

The Life and Times of Plato Evidence

The true meaning of what Plato, a magnificent individual who became famous for his quotes, is that hope is always inside. Tradegies may occur, like children being afraid of the dark, but these children have to have courage that they can become a man. This way when the time or light comes, they are ready because of the hope and courage they have gained from the tragedies of their earlier ie. Everyone's life will have tradegies. How to build from them is all due to the hope and courage people have in themselves.
