It turns out that giants working for the earth goddess Gaea, who wants to weaken the barriers between life and death so she can take over the world, have captured Thantos, the god of death. Text to Self
This book related to me because it shoes the importance of friendship and in life I take friendship very seriously. I believe that friendship is important because friends are always there for you even if you’re feeling down. I know that I didn’t have friends I definitely wouldn’t be where I am today.
Text to Text
This book reminded me of the book Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief. It reminds me of this book because of the characters in the book. Percy Jackson is the main in both books and both books involve Greek/Roman Mythology. The book doesn’t have the same story line but follows most of the steps in plot resolution.
Text to World
This book connects to the world with the theme teamwork. In our world today nobody listens to just one person, but if there were a group that came together to support the same cause, people would then listen. In the book Percy and his friends come together with teamwork in order to complete there mission.
