The diameter of Mercury is 4878 km. It takes Mercury about 59 days to rotate once. Mercury;s mass is about 3.30e23 kg (5.5% of Earth's). Mercury is the closest planet to the Sun. It is also the smallest terrestrial planet.
Jupiter is the fifth planet in the Solar System. It is also the largest planet in the solar system. It has four main moons.. They are Ganymede, Callisto,
Europa, and Io.
Saturn is the sixth planet in the solar system. It is considered one of the most beautiful body's in the solar system. It's rings can have rocks as small as sand or as big as houses.
Uranus is the second to last planets in the solar system. Uranus' mass is 8.683e25 kg. Uranus' diameter is 51,118 km .
Neptune is the last planet in the solar system. It's core is extremely hot.
POEM:
The planets were formed over 4-million years ago.
Electrostatic forces made dust particles do so.
There is Mercury- small and made of iron,
Then Venus- hot and close to Earth in diameter.
Then there's Earth- our home and full of H2O and life,
And Mars- red , such a sight.
Jupiter- With a large mass and with many storms,
Saturn- bright with rings that formed.
Uranus is blue and has rings today.
Neptune is smaller and furthest away.
Venus is the second closest planet to the Sun and is about the same size as Earth. Venus is also the second biggest terrestrial planet in the solar system. Venus' surface temperature is hot enough to melt lead.
