Key PointsIn The Secret there are many useful points and information that is beneficial. The book describes three steps of using the secret. Ask: placing a picture in your head as to what you want. Believe: You must believe that you will recieve what you asked for. Recieve: If you act as if you have already recieve the thing you want, Laws of Attraction will bring it to you even quicker.

Plot?The plot is different from a typical plot. Being broken down into three parts; Exposition, Climax, and Denouement. There is no rising or falling action. The Secret Revealed is the Expositon. The Climax is the Powerful Processes of the Secret, How To Use the Secret, and some of the different secrets of the world inlcuding Relationships, Money, and Health. Finally the Denouement is the secrets of You and Life.

Setting?Because this book is has testimonies from people all over the world and teaches about the mechanics of the universe. The Secret takes place takes place anywhere and everywhere.

SynopsisThe Secret is a powerful book that reveals the key to succeeding at life. By understanding the Laws of Attraction, anyone can control what goes on in their life. It’s all about the power of thoughts that can dictate how one’s life will progress. Using the fundamentals in The Secret can control everyday life troubles such as money, happiness, relationships, health, and dealing with downfalls in life. With the power of have true and utter faith and that anything can happen, this book can change a life.

Character?In The Secret there is no protagonist or antagonist, because this book is more of an informational publishing. But there are uses of real people with testimonies, contributors, or quotes from well-known individuals. Some of these well-known people include Winston Churchill, Charles Haanel, Robert Collier, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., Prentice Mulford, Buddha, Wallace Wattler, Alexander Graham Bell, Albert Einstein, W. Clement Stone, Charles Fillmore, Ralph Walda Emerson, Carl Jung, Henry Ford and Ralph Waldo Emerson.

A very famous film producer and art director had some painting hanging in around his house of naked women facing away from him as if saying, “I don’t see you.” At this point of his life he had troubles with finding a relationship. When he was told that he should paint picture of what he wants, his situation dramatically changed.

There was a man who carried a rock in his pocket and every time he had touched it, he would think of one thing that he was thankful for. When he went to Africa a man saw him drop the rock and asked him what it was, he told him that it was a gratitude rock. Weeks later he gets a letter from the man that his son had a disease and asked if he could have a gratitude rock sent to him. Once he had receive the gratitude rock a few months later, he receives a letter from the man in Africa that his son is doing fantastic.

Other Characters

RecommendationsEveryone should read this book at one point in their life. This book gives so much information about how to be successful in life. But young children shouldn't read The Secret, due to the concepts and vocabulary. This book in NO one time read, because it is such a refreshing reminder of how to live life to its fullest.
