Activity: The Art StudioIn Reggio schools, these are called mini-ateliers. A variety of beautiful materials are chosen thoughtfully by the teacher. Children may freely create. It is the process, not the product that is important. "Art is the chosen medium to represent children's thinking" (Hertzog, 2001).
