The Greasers and the Socs are two social cubs. The Socs are the priveledged East siders who dive Mustangs and throw beer blasts, while the Greasers are no count hoods from the West....or are they?

Ponyboy learns the hard waythat things indeed are rough all over. In a matter of 1 week he lost two best friends yet a lifetime of wisdom.

I love this book because it really made me care about the characters are and everything they experience.I feel like this book, although it was written in the 70's still has themes that are relatable to young teens today!
